1. Agreement
By using GymDIY you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. GymDIY is operated by C&M Mobile LLC, 8114 Walden Glen Ct, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
2. Not medical advice
Strength training carries risk of injury. You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise is appropriate for you, and for stopping if something hurts. Consult a qualified professional before starting a new training programme, particularly if you have an injury, a medical condition, or are returning to training after a long break.
Equipment identification and load suggestions are best-effort estimates produced by software, including AI models that can be wrong. Verify weights and equipment settings yourself before lifting.
3. Your account
You need an account. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person. You must be at least 16 years old.
4. Subscriptions and payment
GymDIY offers a free tier and a paid premium subscription.
- Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are billed through your Apple ID.
- Where an introductory free trial is offered, it applies only if you are eligible. Apple allows each customer one introductory offer per subscription group — if you have already used a trial on another GymDIY plan, you will be charged immediately and the app will not offer you a trial.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled.
- Cancel any time in your Apple ID settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
- Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you purchase. At the time of writing, premium is $14.99 per month or $99.99 per year in the United States.
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies, not by us.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service, resell access, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Your content
Equipment details, goals and training logs you enter remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to store and process them to operate the service — nothing more. We do not claim ownership.
7. Our content
The app, its generated programs, exercise library and design are ours or our licensors’. Use them for your own training; do not redistribute them.
8. Availability
We aim to keep GymDIY running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change. We may discontinue the service, and if we do we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Indiana.
